Day 1:
Arrive after 4 pm Jordon Hollow Inn, a historical property that was utilized during the Civil War.  If you are having that first day cycling twitch we will have a 5pm short ride allowing you to evaluate your skills and learn about the Garmin GPS you will have all week.  Appetizers will be waiting on you when you return, then 7:30 dinner and relax by the brook side fire pit.

Day 2:

We will have two wonderful rides planned for today enjoying a strong bicycle climb up to Skyline Drive riding the middle portion of the Skyline Drive and then relaxing on the Valley ride back to Jordon Hollow.  Or stay in the Valley and we will meet up with the climbers after they descend from Skyline.  You will have choices of 50 – 90 miles today.

Day 3:

It is a beautiful Valley ride to Crimora Mine Retreat.  Riding through the Valley you will see some of the most beautiful farm lands, or you may choose to ride the up to Skyline Drive at Swift Run Gap and complete the Southern stretch of Skyline Drive.  Crossing the covered bridge to get to the retreat is the first glimpse at why this is my personal favorite stop on all our tours.

Day 4:

Today we will take you to Afton Mountain where you can continue south from Skyline Drive where this becomes the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Drop down off the Parkway, and ride back to Crimora passing through Waynesboro.  Those wanting one horrific climb a day will choose to drop down off Afton Mountain, take the valley to Wintergreen, climb the mountain, and cross the Parkway, meeting up with the rest of the riders back to Crimora.

Day 5:

Today we pack up and move on to Woodstock’s Shenandoah River Lodge. It is a long ride today, but a scenic ride.  It will end with substantial challenges between Luray and Woodstock.  We will have lunch planned in Luray today.  At that point you can choose to make the two mountain passes to Woodstock or join us for the van ride back.  You do have a hot tub when you arrive.

Day 6:

Enjoy the nice rides of the Northern Shenandoah Valley today.  Here you will get to take in some of the areas most beautiful farm lands, or you may choose to ride the Northern portion of Skyline Drive, completing all of the sections.  Perhaps you will want to put your feet in the river and relax, or we can arrange for a casual canoe trip down the Shenandoah.  The choice is yours.  Gather back for dinner, hot tub, and campfire.  Watch the video recap of the week.

Day 7:

It is time to go home. It is a short 35 miles back to your car, and we will drive you back; however, this is one of the most challenging 35 miles around.  Enjoy the climbs in your seat or ours.  Be safe driving home.
